5 cool kitchen design ideas you’ll want to copy...

A solid oak kitchen currently in production for one of our lovely customers.

1. Drawers, drawers and more drawers

The best storage solution for modern kitchens. They let you see and reach everything at a glance, meaning no more digging around in the dark for that lost spice jar or saucepan lid. Deep drawers can handle everything from pots to pantry staples, while clever hidden internal drawers keep cutlery and utensils neatly organised. Plus, they just look sleeker, making your kitchen feel more streamlined and stylish.

Drawers cost more to manufacture than standard shelved cupboards, often pushing up kitchen prices and forcing you to make compromises by limiting the number you include. With our fixed pricing, you can choose any cupboard style - drawers or shelves - without worrying about extra costs.

2. A family-sized hidden fridge

Integrated appliances always look more sleek and modern. If you want the spaciousness of an American fridge freezer but prefer a more seamless design, check out the Siemens XL range. Here, we’ve used two XL fridge freezers, offering a massive 764-litre capacity while appearing as a beautifully crafted wooden pantry. For even more storage, Siemens also offers an XXL option!

We don’t add a mark up to our appliances so we can offer these fridge freezers, along with lots of other top-end appliances, at exceptional value.

3. A downdraft extractor

Bulky extractors can easily throw off a kitchen’s design, but there’s a smarter solution. Here, we’ve used a Neff induction hob with a built-in downdraft extractor - a sleek, space-saving alternative that pulls steam and odours straight from the source. Not only does it keep the air fresh and fabrics free from lingering smells, but it also allows the hob to sit in the island, so keen cooks can stay in amongst the action while they whip up a feast.

A birds-eye view of the plan - a simple and beautiful layout.

4. A secret door

One of these cupboards isn’t a cupboard at all—it’s a hidden walk-in pantry! Designed to blend seamlessly into the kitchen, it keeps your storage space tucked away while maintaining a sleek, modern look. Not only does it add a fun, unexpected element to the design, but it’s also incredibly practical—giving you easy access to extra shelving, food storage, and kitchen essentials without disrupting the aesthetic.

5. Solid Oak Cupboards

The entire kitchen is crafted from solid oak using our unique stick-frame design, ensuring both durability and timeless beauty. The island and fridge-freezer have a natural finish, while the back run is painted in a soft off-white for a subtle contrast.

We’re busy making this kitchen in the workshop as I type. It’s going to look so good once it’s installed, we can’t wait to show you! If you’re curious about what we can create for you, don’t forget—we offer a completely free design service - book a design appointment today.
