Choose your style…

  • Modern kitchen with wooden cabinets, a black induction hob, a coffee machine, and shelves with glassware and jars.

    Stick Frame Kitchens

Scandinavian-style kitchens where the frame is fully on display. Our timber frames are designed to be visible. Whether stained with a dark hue or finished with a simple oil to highlight the natural beauty of the wood, this kitchen combines function with an architectural minimalist design, offering a unique contemporary look.

  • Modern Shaker kitchen interior with a mix of painted and wooden cabinets, and light wooden herringbone flooring.

    Shaker Kitchens

Rooted in the principles of simplicity, durability, and functionality, this classic design features clean lines, minimal ornamentation, and expertly crafted cabinetry. With its signature framed doors, recessed panels, and traditional joinery, a Shaker kitchen exudes understated sophistication that suits both period homes and contemporary spaces.

  • Modern kitchen interior with wooden cabinets, white countertops, a stainless steel sink, potted plant, kitchen utensils, and a large window.

    Modern Wooden Kitchens

Our timber frames with overlay doors. This style brings warmth, character, and a refined aesthetic to any home. Unlike inset cabinetry, overlay doors sit on top of the cabinet frame, creating a seamless, modern look while still showcasing the timeless appeal of natural wood.

Our unique solid timber frames

Natural kitchens made from real wood

Our cupboards are built with a solid timber frame and sustainably sourced hardwood - an innovative construction method that lets us use the highest quality materials without unnecessary waste or inflated costs. Whether you choose walnut, oak, ash, tulipwood or something else, it forms an incredibly strong core for your cabinetry - and is beautiful when left exposed, creating our signature Stick Frame style.

We’re committed to using beautiful hardwoods throughout our kitchens. You won’t find MDF or chipboard in any of our designs, guaranteeing a durable wooden kitchen that will stand the test of time.

Modern craftsmanship

Every cupboard is crafted in our carpentry studio in the Sussex countryside.

Housed in a recently renovated space, it’s far from the typical joinery workshop - sleek, contemporary, and purpose-built for precision.

For us, it embodies Cub Kitchens and our vision of modern craftsmanship, where cutting-edge machinery meets the skill and expertise of time-served bench joiners. We celebrate innovative design whilst working with traditional natural materials that are made to last.
